What you want to know before getting started
Do I need to give you access to my passwords?
No. You're present for the entire session and in control of your own screen. I guide the process; you're the one entering credentials. Your vault is yours from the start.
What if I forget my 1Password master password?
We set up emergency access and account recovery during the session. I walk you through how the recovery process works so you understand your options before the session ends.
Can this be done remotely?
Yes. Most sessions are done over screen share - Zoom, FaceTime, or whatever you prefer. In-person is also available for SF East Bay clients. Either way, the process is identical.
What counts as a device?
Up to 3 devices: typically your computer and your phone. If you have a tablet you use regularly, that counts as the third device. All three are configured during the session.
Do I have to manually enter all my passwords?
For most solo operators, no. We import your saved passwords from your browser - one browser per device - which handles the bulk of them automatically. Then we enter a handful of your most important accounts together during the session.
